Is It Real,
or Generated?
Paste a video URL below. This is one component of the Silicon Trust pipeline, trained specifically on the categories of synthetic content that newsrooms are encountering today and will encounter as generation technology advances.

How It Works
Three Checks.
One Verdict.
The engine runs three independent analyses simultaneously and combines the results into a single integrity score.
Spatial Analysis
Frame-by-frame inspection for the compression artefacts, blending inconsistencies, and boundary discontinuities that AI generation leaves behind.
Spectral Analysis
Fourier-domain inspection for the repeating frequency patterns characteristic of neural rendering pipelines and GAN-based synthesis.
Temporal Coherence
Cross-frame consistency checks for unnatural motion, flicker, and inter-frame continuity failures that emerge in synthetic video sequences.
The Problem
One Missed
Deepfake.
Newsrooms operating under deadline pressure lack the capability to run rigorous forensic checks on incoming footage. Commercial verification tools are either too slow, too expensive, or trained on datasets that predate the current generation of synthetic media.
A single undetected deepfake broadcast causes reputational damage that is measured in months, not days. Ofcom enforcement actions have followed. Retraction costs are substantial.
The tools to address this, until recently, did not exist in a form accessible to editorial teams.
